Pastor Ron received a Bachelor in Arts degree from Baylor University in 1994 with a Major in Religion and a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1997. In August of 2009, he began working on a Doctor of Ministry degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Additionally, God has afforded Pastor Ron the opportunity to travel to Mexico, Central America and Australia on both short and long term mission endeavors.
When asked to summarize his vision for Trinity Baptist Church, Pastor Ron stated, “I believe God is calling us to reach into our community, meet the needs around us and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. The time has come for every Christian to take an active role in fulfilling the Great Commission by not only reaching our community for Christ, but also discipling Christians to a point of Spiritual maturity!”
